1. What are the dates and times for this year’s haunted house?
This year, the Black Mountain Haunted House will be open for 7 nights from October 18th – October 20th and October 24th – 27th. The event runs nightly from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Tickets sales start at 5:30pm. We also have family fun hours open during the day on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00pm – 3:00pm.

2. Where is the haunted house located?
The haunted house is located at Hillcrest Farm Market, 700 Hwy 33 E, Kelowna, BC. You can find a map and directions on our Contact page.

3. How much are tickets, and where can I buy them?
General Admission: $15

Youth (6-12years): $5

Child (0-5years): FREE

Family Fun Hours: $5

4. Is the haunted house suitable for children?
Our haunted house is designed to be a thrilling experience and may be too intense for some young children, (we recommend 10 and older) . However, we are open during the day on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00pm – 3:00pm with no actors in place. This is a great sneak peek at our haunted house that lets you can walk around and take in all the details.

5. Is the haunted house wheelchair accessible?
Yes, our venue is wheelchair accessible. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us in advance so we can assist you.

6. Can I volunteer or get involved with the haunted house?
Absolutely! We’re always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with various aspects of the event, from setup to acting. Visit our Volunteer page for more information on how to join our team.

7. What should I wear to the haunted house?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking. The event is partially outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather. Costumes are welcome!

8. What happens if it rains?
The Black Mountain Haunted House is a rain-or-shine event. We will continue to operate unless severe weather conditions make it unsafe. Please check our website or social media pages for real-time updates on event status.

9. Can I bring a camera or take photos?
Photography is allowed inside the haunted house. However, to preserve the experience for all guests, we ask that you refrain from posting photos or videos inside the haunted house to social media until after the event has finished.

10. What is your refund policy?
All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges unless the event is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.

11. Is parking available?
Yes, there is ample parking available at Hillcrest Farm Market. Parking is free, but we encourage carpooling to help reduce traffic and environmental impact.

12. Can I sponsor the event or donate to the cause?
Yes, we welcome sponsorships and donations! Proceeds from the haunted house go toward supporting mental health initiatives in Kelowna. Please visit our Contact page for more information on how you can contribute.

14. How scary is the haunted house?
Our haunted house is designed to provide an intense, immersive experience with a mix of jump scares, eerie atmospheres, and interactive scenes. It’s not for the faint of heart, but we strive to create an experience that’s fun and memorable for everyone.
